Preparations For Our Spring Gospel Meeting With Kevin Clark

Our upcoming gospel meeting is scheduled to begin on April 11th. We have time to prepare for it. So let us start thinking about the things we can do to make it successful.

To the congregation, it is OUR meeting. All of us are responsible to make it successful.

To each individual, it is MY meeting, for the success will depend on how I pray, attend, visit, & listen.

To the preacher, it will be HIS meeting, for it is his responsibility to present the message with clarity, boldness, truth, & conviction.

It is GOD’S meeting, for He is the one who gave the gospel that save souls.

If “I” will do “MY” part, “WE” do “OUR” part, & the preacher does “HIS” part, then GOD will most certainly do “HIS” part & the meeting will be a success. May God bless us together in this effort to win souls for Christ.

Last Year’s Spring Gospel Meeting With Ethan Longhenry

In 2013, our average attendance for the Spring Gospel Meeting was 105, with 143 being our highest attendance.

This year, I am confident we can do a whole lot better.  Over 300 flyers have been sent out to area congregations & past visitors advertising the meeting.  The meeting is being advertised on our website, our weekly email communications, Facebook, & Twitter.  Flyers are made available every Sunday & Wednesday for us to distribute to family, co-workers, neighbors, & friends.  The Elders, Deacons, & Evangelist are available to study with whoever needs to hear more about Jesus.  It is time for us to stop “playing” church & start “being” the church.

WE CAN DO IT!!!
