Starting April 18, 2014, the Wildercroft church of Christ will bring to you the word of God over the radio. We will be hosting a radio program entitled, "Listen To Your Bible." It will be a 30 minute call-in radio program airing every Friday evening @ 7:00pm on WYCB 1340AM My Spirit DC. This program will also stream live @ MySpiritDC.com.

We are very excited about this opportunity. Over the past 5 years, the congregation in Riverdale has tripled in size through the hard work of dedicated Christians using their time, talent, & treasures. Through the new website, we receive 1,500 unique hits/week & we have many followers on Facebook & Twitter. NOW IS THE TIME for us to add to our efforts in reaching the lost for King Jesus using the medium of radio.

Commercials began airing on this station April 1st. We know they are being heard because our gospel meeting this weekend had several visitors due to the advertisements on this station for the meeting.

God has truly been with us during this effort. The station has both increased our promo counts from 10 to 20/week & they lowered the cost for air time from what was originally agreed. Dan Jackson (Elder) has done an outstanding job in leading this effort. We have approximately 30 members who have volunteered their time in many areas for the success of this program. Catherine Myrick has created postcards, flyers, & car magnets for the purposes of advertising. Men have met weekly in research & training on the answering of Bible questions. Much growth has taken place over the past month because of these sessions. Brethren, we have a lot for which to be both excited & thankful.

Please plan now to tune in as we strive to call Bible things by Bible names, do Bible things Bible ways, speaking where the Bible speaks, remaining silent where the Bible is silent, providing only a book, chapter, & verse for all questions asked. Tell a friend. God bless you all!
